Song of the day: Young Man Blues (The Who)

This song sounds like the greatest jam session ever (coincidentally, from the greatest band ever). Only heard live (to my knowledge, it didn't appear on any of their albums, but it was on disc 2 of the compilation "30 Years of Maximum R & B"), this track is a fantastic example of why The Who kicks ass.

Roger Daltrey was at the peak of his singing career, Pete Townshend was rocking out like no other, Kieth Moon was blowing out ear drums with his (still, to this day) unmatched drumming prowess, and John Entwistle was wearing a freakin' skull suit. Need I say more? Oh yeah, it's also some of the finest bass playing that has ever graced my ears.

The song is about five and a half minutes long, but by the time it's over, it'll seem like it just started. It's not outright catchy, but this track has a certain feel to it that you just can't deny. It's completely badass, and you can watch the YouTube video here.
